A €40,000 machine, chosen for your clothes
At the heart of the workshop sits a latest-generation dry-cleaning machine: a €40,000 investment, installed and serviced to the standards set by French regulation. It runs as a closed loop — filtration, distillation, solvent recovery — and releases nothing into the workshop or the neighbourhood.
KWR now, perc no more
For decades, dry cleaners ran on perchloroethylene. Belle Allure did too. Lingering smell, harsh on fibres, classified as hazardous: that solvent has been progressively banned in premises like ours. Diamant didn't wait for the final deadline to switch. The workshop now runs on KWR, a new-generation solvent: gentler on fabrics, no residual odour, safer for the team and for you.
Years behind an iron show up on a collar
The machine cleans; the hand finishes. Professional steam iron, vacuum table, sleeve board for armholes: every piece goes through someone who has been pressing for years and can read a fabric by touch. The right temperature, the right pressure, the right dwell time — that's what separates a clean garment from a flawless one.
The brush comes before the iron
Before anything goes into a machine, each stain is identified and treated on its own: soft brush, product matched to the fibre, measured pressure. A shirt collar, a jacket lapel and a water mark on wool are three different jobs. It's the invisible work — the kind you only notice when it hasn't been done.
Washing machines that are actually maintained
The workshop's professional washers and dryers are tracked, cleaned and serviced on a schedule: drums, seals, filters, descaling. A poorly maintained machine carries soil from one customer to the next and wears fibres down. Here, maintenance is part of the service, even if nobody sees it.
Under cover, all the way to your wardrobe
Once pressed, every piece goes onto a hanger suited to its shape, then under its own garment cover, away from dust and rubbing. It waits on the conveyor until you come by — and reaches your home exactly as it left the pressing table.
A good machine doesn't do everything. A bad one undoes everything.
